Using the app

Spendtrail is provided for your personal use to record and understand your spending. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

Exchange rates

Exchange rates shown in the app are reference rates sourced from the European Central Bank and are provided for informational purposes only. They may differ from the rates applied by your bank or card issuer.

Ask, the on-device assistant

Ask uses an on-device AI model to answer questions about the transactions you have recorded. Like any AI system, it can be wrong: it may misread a figure, name the wrong period or category, or state something that does not follow from your data. Its answers are a convenience, not a record.

The app itself remains the source of truth. Before relying on anything the assistant tells you — for a reimbursement, a tax return, a budget decision, or anything else that matters — check it against your transaction list and the charts.

Availability depends on your device and on Apple Intelligence being enabled and supported in your language. The feature is simply absent when it cannot run, and we do not guarantee that it will be available.

No financial advice

Spendtrail helps you visualize your own data. It does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. This applies to the assistant's answers as much as to the rest of the app.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zestworks is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Language

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are provided in English, and the English version is the only authoritative one. The app's interface is available in other languages, but these legal documents are not. If we ever publish a translation, it is offered for convenience only, and the English version governs in the event of any difference.
